everybody is skeptical of any new technology whenever it comes out, condemning it as a ‘sure failure’ or ‘unneeded’ and as always after the technology becomes widespread no one can imagine life without it – the same is true for DAB, FM will die eventually

Fifth gear please get your facts right.

Web streaming is available right now in cars. Smart-phone + wire or blue-tooth and with a decent 3G signal job done.

I get 1000′s of “stations” from all around the world and it cost me no more than my phone and a simple photo adaptor. FM was great and DAB is good, but it’s certainly not cutting edge now is it?

yes it’s a “5.1 effect” you can enable on android phones only when you are on headphones. It’s not real 5.1 of course, let’s say it’s a different equalization, brighter, somewhat louder, but sounds crappy in car for certain songs
I’ve seen a gingerbread demo and looks like android 2.3 has built in equalizer (on screen pop-up) that must be brilliant for my installation

massi sono le wallpaper animate, basta che metti una foto qualsiasi e viaggia alla grande. Il galaxy tab mostra le wallpaper animate anche come sfondo del menu applicazioni, per cui appesantisce molto. Dipende anche da che robaccia hai scaricato dal market come sfondo, certe sono fatte proprio male, altre non sono pensate per risoluzioni cosi’ enormi (e.g. non ottimizzate)
